Our add-ons enhance SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and SAP HR Standard with smart additional functions. The same applies to our apps, which add helpful functions to the SAP cloud solutions for HR, i.e. SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur. Our many years of experience from numerous implementation projects in this environment are incorporated here. With our p78 Quick Apply solution for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, candidates can now submit their application on their mobile device in no time at all, even without prior registration.

Cumbersome registration and tedious data entry not only make potential online buyers despair, but also job seekers - who increasingly want to apply for jobs on the move. Similar to guest access for online orders, job seekers can now submit their candidate data quickly and easily without having to register first. The CV can be uploaded either from a smartphone or directly from the cloud.

Our add-on product p78 Quick Apply for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting complements the SAP standard and was implemented in collaboration with our cooperation partner Textkernel based on the SAP Cloud Platform and the Extract! software solution from Textkernel. The latter enables automated CV parsing of the CV uploaded by the candidate. The relevant candidate data such as first name, surname, email address and postal address are extracted from the CV and transferred to the corresponding form fields of the “short application”.

Our p78Lab will give you a first impression of the functionality and appearance of the solution.

Overview of functions

  • Application as an external candidate without prior registration, i.e. you do not have to go through the standard SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting registration process.
  • Simultaneous upload and processing of up to three candidate documents, e.g. cover letter, CV and references.
  • CV parsing of the CV uploaded by the candidate and interpretation of the data contained therein.
  • As part of the interpretation of the candidate data, the form fields of the p78 Quick Apply solution are automatically pre-populated with the relevant CV data - and ultimately transferred to SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting.
  • Several defined file formats (e.g. PDF) and different data sources (local PC, mobile device or the file hosting services Dropbox and Google Drive) are supported.
  • If the underlying SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting job posting includes a questionnaire, this is visualized for the candidate within the p78 Quick Apply solution and must be answered accordingly.
  • The p78 Quick Apply solution can also be used for applications that have reached the company via e-mail or in paper form. In both cases, manual entries, i.e. the creation of a candidate in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, are no longer necessary for the recruiter responsible.
  • The p78 Quick Apply runs on all mobile devices (smartphones/tablets) that are supported by SAP Fiori.

The mishap can happen quickly: Through multiple incorrect password entries, the employee unintentionally triggers the lockout of their SAP user account. With the Password Reset Self Service (PWR), users can unlock themselves within minutes – regardless of help desk staff or SAP system administrators. A new initial password is generated for the SAP user and sent to the user via email. The same applies to "resetting" the password if it has been forgotten. Users can initiate a password reset at any time and from anywhere in the world, making them independent of working hours or service times. This allows the employee to continue working in the shortest possible time. This standardized process reduces costs for the company and also ensures higher employee satisfaction.

Security is paramount throughout the process: The self-service can be encrypted with the high-security standard SSL upon request. When generating the initial password, your company's password policy is applied, and a complex password is generated. The new initial password is sent to the email address stored in the SAP user, thus preventing abuse by third parties. In addition, a series of predefined security checks can be added if necessary to prevent unauthorized access. Technical or critical users can be excluded from the entire reset process through permissions.
