Legal Requirements for Job Advertisements
According to § 164 (1) of the German Social Code Book IX (SGB IX), all employers are required to assess whether open positions can be filled by individuals with disabilities who are registered as unemployed or job-seeking with the Federal Employment Agency. Additionally, public sector employers are obligated under § 154 (2) and § 165 sentence 1 SGB IX to report newly created or soon-to-be-vacant positions to the Federal Employment Agency in a timely manner. However, reporting open positions involves a significant amount of manual effort.
