The new careers page was launched at the end of 2024 and marks an important step towards digitized HR processes for Stadtwerke Düsseldorf. A joint project team from HR, Recruiting, Employer Branding, and IT created a recruiting experience that consistently focuses on the candidates.
Highlights include a custom, responsive UI, a semantic Smart Search, a quick application including automated profile creation, Job Alerts, and the integration of the internal and external job markets. A special feature is the WhatsApp application, implemented with the p78 partner PitchYou.

The implementation began with a joint kick-off, in which roles and expectations were clearly defined. In subsequent workshops, as-is and to-be processes in recruiting were analyzed – not only technically, but also from the perspective of managers and candidates. Additionally, the team developed a benchmark of other careers pages and, based on this, formulated specific requirements for structure, UX, and content.
